Our Mission

Saint Nicholas is the smallest of the three Greek Orthodox Churches in Manchester.  We think of ourselves as small but might, friendly and family oriented.  Our services are celebrated in 90% English and 10% Greek for hymns and commonly known prayers.  We have Byzantine chanting for Orthros and Vigils, and congregational singing for the Divine Liturgy.  This allows everyone to actively partake in worship.  Our Sunday School children join us during the Liturgy, and after hearing a short message from Father Phil, they attend their lesson until it is time to participate in Holy Communion.
